When Vincent Van Geel first contacted me about the interface design for Iron Grip I didn't know where to start. The mix of styles that he describe the game with was hard to visualize. So I went to the book store and bought myself a couple of art books. Spend some days to get into the Baroque and Jugend style. And after a while I started to get some ideas about the design. After 3 – 4 concepts drawings me and Vincent thought we were on the right way. The entire design work took about 3-4 weeks. It was a plesure to work with Vincent and have Isotx as a client. Thanks for a fun project! /Anton
"Iron Grip web skin was a specific project we were aiming on creating for a while now, but nobody seemed to be able to nail down the style. The Iron Grip universe is a strange mix of Napoleonic, industrial and World War 2. We were concerned it would take a while before Anton Wiklund would be able to perfectly blend the style description, as we've worked with many artists in the past, but we were amazed at how fast Anton Wiklund was able to process the information and turn that into exactly what we wanted. Anton's strength is his ability to turn something into a solid design no matter how vague the description is. Other than that we found working with Anton a pleasure and enjoyed his frequent updates and steady progress."
